I get asked all the time. Jeremy, what DO you actually do? Well, that's a great question. You see, it requires a little bit more than a one word answer.
Let me tell you what I don't do.
So again, WHAT DO I DO?
I have always been a dreamer! When I rode bucking horses for a living for 10 years. I believed it was possible to ride a 1200lb bucking horse for 8 seconds! I believed in myself. Despite all the people out there who said I would NEVER make it, I went on to 2 national championships.
You see, I could never understand the people who just sat around and complained and did nothing about it.
I believe that when you stop dreaming, you might as well just dig your own grave. One of my favorite mentors, Lennon Ledbetter, has a quote that goes something like this "I believe dreams come from God and I don't believe he is cruel enough to put dreams in our heart and then provide NO vehicle for us to accomplish it"
so I guess to answer the question, What do I do?
I OFFER PEOPLE HOPE!
I ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO DREAM AGAIN!
I STRIVE EVERY DAY TO STRETCH MYSELF TO BECOME A BETTER PERSON
I SHARE NEW IDEAS WITH PEOPLE!
...so my number 1 question to you is
#1 - Do you keep your options open in terms of making any money outside of what you are currently doing?
Let me tell you what I don't do.
- I don't have a J.O.B.
- I don't work for someone else.
- I don't feel like a paycheck to my family.
- I don't miss activities that are important to my family because my boss won't let me have the time off.
- I don't complain about how bad the economy is and then sit around and wait for the government to fix MY situation.
